General Terms & Conditions (AGB) of City Riders Berlin

1. Scope of Application
These General Terms & Conditions apply to all guided bicycle tours offered by City Riders Berlin, as well as to bookings made via our website or directly at our location.
2. Contractual Partner and Booking
Any legally competent natural person can be a customer. Bookings can be made online or on site. For online bookings, payment is made electronically via PayPal, credit card, or in cash on site. The booking becomes binding upon receipt of a booking confirmation.
3. Conditions of Participation
•Participation is at your own risk. Each participant is responsible for their own cycling behavior and must comply with applicable traffic regulations.
•Participants must be able to ride a bicycle safely. Inexperienced riders may be excluded from the tour.
•Children under 12 years may only participate if accompanied by a legal guardian.
•Participants are required to follow the instructions of the guide and to behave considerately towards other road users and group members.
4. Meeting Point and Punctuality
•Participants must arrive at the agreed meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
•Late participants will be waited for a maximum of 10 minutes. After that, there is no entitlement to participation or a refund.
5. Services and Additional Costs
•The use of a bicycle is included in the tour price.
•Food and drinks are not included in the price.
•No deposit is required for the use of the bicycle.
6. Cancellation Policy
•Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the tour.
•For cancellations within 48 hours or in case of no-show, no refund will be given.
•Tours generally take place in all weather conditions. However, if there is an official severe weather warning, tours may be canceled by City Riders and the tour price will be refunded if the cancellation is made by City Riders. City Riders is not obliged to cancel tours in the event of severe weather warnings.
7. Disclaimer of Liability
•City Riders Berlin is not liable for accidents, injuries, or property damage caused by the participant’s own fault or by third parties.
•Liability exists only in cases of intent or gross negligence on our part.
•The participant is liable for damages to the bicycle or to third parties caused by their own fault.
8. Use of Photos and Videos
•City Riders Berlin is entitled to take photos and videos during the tours and use them for advertising purposes. Participants may object to this in advance.
9. Miscellaneous Provisions
•The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
•Should any clause of these terms and conditions be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains valid.
